GeoSQL: A Spatial Query Language of Object-oriented GIS

This article analyzes the definition of spatial query and the requirements of query languages in GIS, and discusses the grammar structures, spatial predicates of GeoSQL, the query language of a prototype objectoriented GIS, YH-GIS. In the last part, some query instances of GeoSQL are presented.
